By accessing or using Infinixism's website and purchasing our YOUniverse products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.

2. Products and Services

YOUniverse Devices

YOUniverse devices are pre-configured mini computers loaded with privacy-focused, self-hosted software. You purchase the hardware outright—there are no ongoing fees for the core software.

Optional Subscriptions

We offer optional subscription services such as Remote Access and Cloud Backup. These are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

3. Purchases and Payment

• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We currently ship to the United States and Canada
• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier
• You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information

5. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all YOUniverse devices:

• Return the device in its original packaging within 30 days
• Device must be in working condition
• We will refund the purchase price minus shipping costs
• Contact support to initiate a return

6. Warranty

All YOUniverse devices come with a 1-year limited hardware warranty:

• Covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
• Does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or modifications
• Does not cover software issues (we provide free software support)
• Warranty service may involve repair or replacement at our discretion

7. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our products or services to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware or engage in hacking
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Interfere with our services or other users

9. Intellectual Property

The Infinixism name, logo, and branding are our property. The open-source software included on YOUniverse devices is licensed under their respective open-source licenses. You own the hardware and have the right to modify the software as permitted by those licenses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infinixism shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

11. Disclaimer

Products and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that products will meet your specific requirements or that services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
